There is no support for Nintendo accounts. In fact, Nintendo and Discord are not affiliated in any way with each other.
I'd say wait or go to Submit a Request via https://support.discordapp.com/hc/en-us/requests/new under Help & Support > Feedback/New Feature Request.

I completely agree. I mainly play video games on switch and it would be great to let people know what I'm playing. This would be awesome.

Yes please, it would be so cool if it could be identical to the playstation one where it shows what game your playing and how long youve been doing it, you could also have an optional feature where is displays your friend code, im on my switch a good 70% of my free time and it would be cool playing with nnew people, idk it would just be awesome if we could link our accounts, woudl love it

i wanna be able to show off im playing acnh w/o having to edit my status manually and show like- the elapsed time, maybe if im on my island or someone else's, mystery islands, yknow? and then my ACTUAL custom status can be like "hunting!" or smth dfghbgfdfg3 -
