not being able to speak when watching live streams

this is a common issue when i am in a general call, my pal makes a live stream and tells me to watch, i go ahead and watch his stream and they start talking to me. a talk back but he complains that he can't hear me my mic is not muted, it is not broken, it is not cheap and it only acores on my chromebook please look thru peace.

    i kinda fixed the problem I just made a second discord account and used my phone and my computer and two pairs of earbuds.  So i had one account on my phone and one on my computer and then watched the stream on my computer and talked in the voice chat on my phone. its not perfect but its something.

    This was fixed by disabling echo cancellation in voice processing under voice and video settings

    Sven the Surfer is exactly right. Tried everything, didn't work. Then I unchecked the echo cancellation tab and it worked instantly. -_-
