    I'm in the same boat as a few others in this thread, I do not have a phone, and this garbage is preventing me from participating in an ever-increasing number of communities.

    I'm the same here, I don't own a phone and yet Discord just assumes everyone has a phone. I don't have that kind of cash just laying around, yet I need a phone to verify my account that I have probably lost forever with all my friends and servers because of it. In my personnel opinion I think Discord should make it so people who don't own a phone should still be able to verify without one.

    What do you expect? Discord wont come to some random thread. I just recived the problem and im a small youtuber with a 100+ person discord server. I cant be offline forever. And cant transfer ownerships.
