Discord is awesome

Hello Discord developers,

If you're reading this, then I'm very happy. I've been having a lot of bad experience with developers; specifically game developers. Triple A game developers seem like they don't give a crap about who their audience is and what that audience wants. With the rise of micro-transactions which turned into over-priced DLCs, which then escalated into expansion packs that cost more than the base game, developers have become increasingly greedy and merciless in their quest to drain the wallets of as many people and as much as possible while bordering on theft. I hate them.

In contrast, there's you guys. I absolutely love you guys with a passion. I've been using discord for almost 4 years now, and in the entire time I've been using it, I have not had ONE bloody complaint. Despite that, you continue to add more and more updates that not only make the app more functional and remove bugs, but you also make it more diverse so that it has uses other than just for gaming. I frequently read the patch notes word for word because it just feels like it was written with love and passion. Your Discord Nitro feature is ACTUALLY optional, unlike other software or games that make it appear to be optional, but they basically end up being useless unless you pay. In discord's case, Nitro does give you some special privileges, but the app is perfectly usable without it. After writing to many different developers basically telling them just how utterly awful they are, I thought about discord and felt the need to tell you just how fabulously amazing the platform that you created is.
