Suggesting a new feature - Sending voice messages

Hi I was wondering if I could suggest this? I'm sure there are other posts about this topic but maybe hopefull the DMs will make it happen.

Can you guys add voice messaging as a thing. I think it would be super helpful to not only normal people but also teachers or professionals as well. I currently am using discord for my ESL (English as a second language) students and to be able to send voice messages without having to use a different app and then finally uploading it would save the trouble.
