Pruning - Needs Adjusting to Drive Server Value
Pruning is kicking members who have not logged in within a certain time period, correct?
What about members who have logged in, but who have not contributed [made a single post] instead within a given time period. Contributing to a server is what drives the value - this should be a pruning criteria. Too many dormant accounts who do log in but don't ever post a word.
I'd rather have fewer members in my server, but those who contribute - quality not quantity!
Too many servers also use these dormant accounts within their member count list as leverage to show "hey look how good we are, we are huge".
In reality these servers are poor as the retention rate is low, however these members are still included in the total count. Artificial bragging rights, poor really.
Thanks!
