Tagging does not work

When some users on my server try to tag anyone, instead of a name coming up and that user getting a notification, the tag shows up as "<@108554546283806720>" or some other long line of numbers, depending on who they try to tag and I get a notification (I'm the server owner). They've told me that they don't have this problem on other servers. How to fix this?

    The issue had been resolved on my server automatically after Discord released its latest Update but suddenly yesterday it returned
    Note- The Tag Glitch is only for Android Users
    iOS and PC it doesn't happen

    So is there any true fix for Android? Going to my pc everytime isn't ideal haha

    The only fix for android users is they'll have to download older versions of Discord.

    Okay so this fixed the issue for me, u sure if it will work for you. It had something to do with the roles, so i made sure to delete unwanted or random roles and it got fixed.

    Hey - I just started having this same issue too and I am the server owner. I have not changed roles or anything, this was something I could always do. The only thing I have done is update the PC Discord app. How can I fix this?

    I haven't been able to tag anyone for about 4 weeks now. Ive done your latest update but nothing has changed. When I @peoplesnames nothing comes up period!

    The problem is on both my phone & tablet both are Android so it not localised to the device either. 

    Any thoughts on this issue?

    I think this happens because there is a role that is basically just a spacebar or a .

    For example, in my server, I had a role which is just a blank and it made me unable to mention emotes. After I had it removed, it worked.
