Feature Request: Convert Jump Links Into Message Embeds

Dear Discord,

I am glad to see that you have added jump links to Discord (although this was a while ago). However, they are straight up ugly to look at. It's just this long, visually meaningless URL that me, a poor human, cannot even begin to fathom.

No. Not okay. I suggest that, when a jump link is recognized by Discord, it gets replaced with an embed of that message. This would allow for us to know what each other is referring to, without needing to click on the link to jump back.

In fact, the new quote feature that's been added? This would work perfectly with that! Instead of just making it a Markdown quote with a ping @ that person, it could be a rich embed that makes more sense and makes the chatting experience that much better.

In fact, I believe this is the only feature that I miss from WhatsApp. And you don't want to be worse than WhatsApp.

    this could have some implications, especially when you're using these links like some people do (sharing a message from a different channel that only specific people have access to)

    While this could have implications like that, they are easy enough to work around, since the call to get the message could just return a 403 forbidden and be rendered with a message unavailable image for those who can't see the channel.
