Feature Idea: Vertical Task bar Overlay

So as a student i use discord alot to communicate with team mates and what not.

Recently ive been leaving discord up full screen and moving all my applications like firefox, IDE's and editors for programming as well as other stuff over to the right just enough that i can see all the servers on the left hand side of my screen. It would be amazing if discord had an overlay for this Server"Task bar" so that even when im on my desktop i can see what servers the notifications are coming from. With a simple click i can goto which ever server i want and its nice and clean looking.
