looks like discord has crashed unexpectedly

i cant use discord app it launches then says looks like discord has crashed unexpectedly. I'm using the browser version but would like to fix my app. I tried restarting, deleting all discord data and closing all discord programs, uninstall then reinstall to no avail. If anyone knows what is the fix for this that would make this gamer very happy. Thank you :)
