About discord server templates...

So discord added server templates. But it only works if you make a new discord server with the template. May let us use the template in existing guilds(discord servers)

  (I repeat what I wrote on the comment of someone who said the same thing.)
  

  There will inevitably be things lost on the base server, but it's still useful.

  Ultimately, it is a transfer of the community to new healthy and empty bases.

   

  I think the best that can be done is this:

  - All members of the server are kept.

  - Server's logo is kept.

  - Roles are all removed, to let new roles of the new model appear (otherwise too hard to manage).
  

  - All old text and voice zones are deleted with all their content (too hard to do otherwise) to be replaced.

  I don't see what server boosts and emojis have to do with a template. Its the exact same discord ID so why would they remove emojis or boosts?
