i feel like we shouldn't have to been in the same server to dm someone

i think it's kinda dumb you need to be in the same server as someone else to dm them, i have a friend who left a server and i only knew her on that server, so now i can't dm her, it sucks and i feel like you shouldn't need to be in the same server.

  You don't. but its an option in the settings you can enable so people from servers you arent in cant message you. check your settings, maybe you have it enabled.
