other caller can only hear me when they are muted

so I'm trying to call someone on Discord and my mic works fine and there's does too and I can hear them when we call but they can't hear me unless they mute their mic and I tried looking this up to find a solution to this problem but I couldn't find anything so I'm posting this in hope for a response on how to fix this asap if anyone knows how to fix this please let me know, thanks.
