Video Call: 4 people video call column/grid layout

In times of Corona and quarantine I often use video calls to connect with friends but the current video call layout - especially with 4 people - is pretty weird. 

Instead of using 4 columns in one row, I want to suggest to utilize the screen space by spreading cams into a 2x2 grid. Or at least to add a configuration option to choose between row-layout or grid-layout. The example layout is based on dimensions of the iPad Air 3.

    I was looking to see if there was an option to switch to a grid layout on iPad, while playing D&D with friends over video chat. A grid layout is better to see the DM's screen.
