Blocking notifications and pings with roles.

Some people in my server complain about how much we ping during events. Some suggested to make a role for people who want to get pinged instead of @everyone, but that almost killed our activity. But what if we could have roles that blocked all pings? People who don't want pings can use reaction roles for to sign-in/out.
