I don't want to pay $15 for a phone number to do Discord when I can just use iMessage and FaceTime with the phone number I "bought"

Phone numbers here in America are $15, and I haven't bought one because I think that's a waste of money and when I tried to open Discord for the second time, it made me verify my phone number without any option of "I don't own a phone number" or something like that. NOT HAPPY. 😡 😡 😡

  Unless you're joining a server that requires phone number verification, you shouldn't be asked for a phone number. I haven't added mine and my Discord account works fine.

  I don't know what you're talking about. I think Epic is right, my account works fine without a phone number. 

  I can see how the lack of an option to say "I don't have a phone number" can be annoying, same thing happened with Twitter.
