Party Voice Sub Rooms

With all the shut in stuff, here's the concept:

I'd like to experience a Main Voice Channel, everyone can join.  It has sub rooms, where side conversations can happen.
  
The difference is, these sub rooms still have the audio pumping in from the main room at a certain configurable % volume level, and the main room can hear the side rooms at a certain configurable % volume level.

This way, people can still talk on the side, like at a normal social gathering, while keeping an ear out to other things going on.  Like someone else describing their turn on a board game.

Implementation, Its all one big conversation, with the room you are in affecting your voice volume out, and incoming volume.

This isn't for privacy, its for social behaviors and awareness.

Huge usability bonus, if the sub rooms can be hot keyed.
