Limiting voice channels to certain times of the day

I'm a public librarian looking at using Discord for virtual teen programs, but I'm concerned about moderating channels during times when staff is not working, especially considering that we'd be opening this to minors. Is there already a way Discord can let us "close" or mute a server for a specific amount of time, like a schedule, to sync with moderator's availability?  Like we could chose that a channel is open only Monday-Friday from 10-6, as just an example.

    You can use a bot to lock down the server or specific channels whenever you're not around.

    One that I like to use is Carl bot; you can add it using this link: https://discordapp.com/oauth2/authorize?client_id=235148962103951360&scope=bot&permissions=66321471

    The command is !lock #channel or !lock server. You can add duration at the end of the message for example: !lock #channel 6h

    YESSS I NEED A BOT THAT HAS A SCHEDULE FOR WHEN TO OPEN AND CLOSE CHATS. I'm making a university-type server that only opens restaurants after class and stuff lol

    Hm, can you have autoschedule a bot to post a command to lock the channel for x time? Guess not, bummer.

    Hi, I tried this and for me it works on tekst channels. However it is still possible for members to join voice channels after I use the "!lock server" command. Is there a way to also lock voice channels?

    Yes, I would love something that locks on a timed schedule!  Anyone find anything?

    Because we have had to shift everything online now too... I also need a way of having a schedule for a channel. 
    so people can only post things during certain Hours (like between 7:00 and 17:00) 
    Surely someone is able to create a bot that can do this?

    For now, you'll have to self-host it but eventually, it'll have an invite link.

    The bot basically allows you to schedule any number of things on a cronjob basis (with optional start date/end date) e.g. send message, lock a channel, etc.
