New Screen Display-no full screen

The new display during calls does not allow for a full screen of the opposite person. This does not allow me to watch something with my chat partner or see them fill up the screen. Please allow an option as least that lets us maximize one person full screen or go back to the way things were with the smaller bubble that didn't get in the way and was overlayed. If there is an option to do this, I have been unable to find it and think it should be more obvious. If I wanted to use Zoom, I'd be using Zoom. Please fix this or we will have to stop using discord, which we have been using for years.
