Regarding New UI Updates

I've been using Discord for over a year now, primarily on mobile, and I've watched all the small (and suddenly very big as of recently) changes build up over time. My request is to please, please for the love of literally anything in the world, STOP changing to interface displays unless it is absolutely necessary. You took the easy ways of accessing your friends list (seeing who's active, who's offline, pending requests, etc. on seperate tabs) and dumped everything into one single tab, so every time I want to try and find a friend who's username I can't remember I have to scroll through hundreds of names and icons, and it is infuriating. The changes to the chat bar are unnecessary as well! Having the simple + sign in the corner worked well for everyone, we didn't need two seperate buttons for camera and gallery to shove the chat bar over and make it smaller. In the past I've complained about the changes to the actives screen in servers (the page that comes out when you swipe to the left) and how it is unnecessarily big and just repeats features - and now you've managed to do the same with server screens in general! I much preferred, when opening server settings, to open a full page and be able to look for what I needed instead of a half page that's crammed with everything at once. So please. Stop updating (mobile specifically) Discord with useless new features, they literally drive people off of the all

    I also have friends that frequently change their usernames, and it is so difficult to find them.

    This whole thing started way back in February. The UI went from unbearable, to somewhat bearable, to downright annoying. As of now, the UI, specifically on mobile, is putrid. They keep fixing things that aren't broken, but they're making it more broken at the same time.

     

    Now, whenever I hold down a message, instead of having the reaction buttons be seperate, I can't even see the fucking messages I held down. These "UI" updates happen out nowhere too, so if you want to cancel the update, you better be vigilant.
