categorical regression of the UI

First of all, I would like to tell you that I am one of the first to have adopted discord as a permanent alternative to skype.

But now I'm sorry, but for me the new interface is a categorical regression.

Let's start at the beginning:

- the principle of putting rectangles to represent each user in a call is for me very experimental not to say another more degrading word.

- The principle of rectangles also means that now you have to place your mouse cursor over the icons of the users to know their status (mute, sound off).
...I admit that for ergonomics I'm not sure about your idea...

- ...and as a last rehearsal, these rectangles make it hard to see the green aura around the icons of the users talking on the call.

I'm waiting for a return to the old interface or a possibility to switch interface in the options.

I hope you'll take my opinion into account, because I think I'm not the only one to think the same way about this "update".

    The new ui is a mess, you can't fullscreen someone's stream anymore. Sure there's a "fullscreen" button, but it's now just a theater mode, where the side of the screen is dedicated to... icons? Completely pointless. Get rid of the stupid rectangles and just throw the icons in the corner of the stream
