Toggle Direct Messages/ Members section

I have seen this issue posted again, but I find it essential and would like to readdress it.
 
I often have to share my screen and remain on the discord window, so while at it, I get messages  from people. It is inevitable to not show the messages section to the people I share my screen to even when I start the sharing session and leave the window after.
      I find it very intrusive because no matter who I'm sharing to it's personal and it should stay this way. I wouldn't like to go to the hustle of removing all my messages or muting people before sharing my screen.

      It should be an option even just for saving space for the actual chat window which is the only one being modified to minimum when resizing the discord window, while the messages section along with the members one -if you are in a conversation etc -  stay solid and take up the most space.
