Video calling and mobile layout
The new video calling layout(s) and the new mobile chat messaging layout is absolutely terrible as everyone else has pointed out so far. Please for the love of your users, please stop changing the layout, just revert it back to the older layout where people didn't have issues with the design. Nobody is asking for these changes and nobody likes them. Discord is supposed to be easy to use and user friendly application.
Video calls should have the square video boxes back and being able to overlay the "hide chat" mode. No weird side view thing and no weird member list that takes up so much room. I now can no longer tell if my screen sharing is working or see what if what I'm holding up to the camera is in focus without having to open the member list and being greatly annoyed.
On mobile, there was no reason to split the images and camera button and make them separate. It takes up too much room now on a phone screen. Works for tablets but very few are using a tablet or have a phone screen big enough to be considered a tablet. Then there's the emoji drawer. it should have just kept bringing you to the separate page, with it popping up as if it's a keyboard, you feel over whelmed and because it doesn't just go away like you'd think it should, when you're trying to type a new message or send it or just add to the message, you just end up looking for emojis and it's annoying as hell.

Even with this new "focused" function due to the new grid UI, The video call still barely takes up any part of the screen when there is obviously plenty missing. This is completely unnecessary and Discord, I beg you to revert to what you once had.

the option to video should not be in a location that is easily selected by accident. this icon should be moved, maybe into a drop-down menu. otherwise, there should be an option in the voice & video settings to turn off the video functions- for yourself and for others.
