Error: could not find module

When I open my Discord, it sometimes doesnt work. After a while it gives me the message that the shortcut to my discord.exe doesn't exist anymore. Next time that I start up my laptop it gives me the error: Error: cannot find module build_info.json.

When this happens I need to delete everything from Discord in my Roaming and Local Appdata and Install it all over again. Otherwise I can't use it. It has happened to me twice already and I'm wondering if this is maybe something others also have a problem with.

Edit: It's been a few years and I don't wanna be that guy, but I think they fixed the error already. I don't have the problem anymore. Thanks everyone for the advice!

  NoMADE I tried that but it keeps telling me I can't do it because apparently it's open on another program, I have no idea what that means and I've had the app closed for months.

  Thats the code. Copy+paste it to the Editor and save it as build_info.json in folder "resources".

  Replace "0.0.309" to your version.
