Can anyone give me a step by step how to do a message link.

I have been trying for over a month and they keep saying I do not give them a message link and I have. I have copy the IDS and everything and I cannot figure out what I am doing wrong. I am just trying to get rid of people IRL doxing me and harassing me on the discord but I cannot get it investigated if I they see the message id. Please help.
