Adding a way to hide/stop showing user webcams in group and server calls.
Title is pretty self-explanatory, but from today, video calling in server channels is easily available for everyone, but there's a very annoying problem with this: a lot of people are sharing their webcams on server calls and there's no way to hide them (unless you leave the channel). of course you can easily ignore them being in webcam, but you will still have a small pop-up box on your discord app while they are video calling.
Another thing that could be a problem for someone is that those unblockable video calls are going to waste internet bandwidth for those who aren't interested. I highly suggest to add a way to hide them.

It also wastes graphics processing when decoding the video, meaning it can take up a significant amount of processing on low end computers

yess please! it's necessary to have this option because it's sometimes annoying having this pop up window up there whenever you are on a chat or a local video on discord.

That would be the best

This feature is a single one line of code that can be added almost anywhere to the codebase, it has been requested since day one and is a default feature in the competition and should be a default feature in discord. I will add this feature to your codebase for free in less than a day. Stop ignoring us.

How in the actual heck is this not a basic feature?
