Alternative for Enter / Ctr+Enter keys
Hello there.
Discord needs send messages by Ctrl+Enter AND line breack for Enter, as optional function.
Posting messages by Enter is good but Discord not twitter/sms. People often writing multy string messages and every time when I need start new string I push Enter like in text editors or other messengers and yeah instead new line I get new incomplete post. It's very annoying.
You need to understend that standart hotkeys must work the same like in other application and OS.
P.S. Yes, I know that there is a few same topics, but about year has passed and still no progress with this issue.

So my cat just walked on my keyboard and somehow switched that setting on. I could no longer send messages. Enter only made a new line in the message. Ctrl + Enter, Shift + Enter, anything + Enter, only added a new line in the message. Restarting the program reset it, but I still don't know how to toggle it.
My point is... The feature you want exists. But I couldn't find out how to toggle it. And the only thing I could find was that other people really wanted to be able to do what I was trying to stop doing.

Having "enter" be the default to submit is ok by me, but I would really, really like the option to switch enter for newline and shift-enter (or control-enter? I've never tried that) for submit instead. I like paragraphs. Those that are happy with the way discord works could leave the setting alone, and I could change it to my preference.
If my (hypothetical) cat walked across my keyboard, I would already be using both enter and shift-enter, and I might momentarily be confused because enter started submitting again, but I hope I would remember that I had changed my preferences once before, and change them again. Then get rid of the (hypothetical) cat.
