ui changes and pinned messages

There have been a lot of changes to the ui recently, and if I have to be honest I've hated all of them. All the changes make the important areas smaller on mobile and or make it take more steps to access important parts of the app. Which brings me to this feedback. Complaint, I suppose. Moving the pinned messages button from the top of the screen into a hidden menu is a terrible design unfeature. I, and everyone I know who uses discord, accesses pinned messages regularly through out the day. It's one of the best features of the program. And now it's been changed to be hidden behind a menu you have to swipe to even see, one that presents you with a bunch of unnesisary data that seems to take me several moments longer to sort through just to find the pin button. It's even worse if you are in a private chat not on a server. Then you have to swipe, THEN click the three dots, and then click pinned messages. That is not just unnessisary, it is /buried/. It's terrible. Terrible design and terrible to use. I can live with the unnesiaary addition of a camera button to my typing bar, I can live with my typing bar getting smaller, but burying an essential feature like this is unacceptable

I gotta say, I agree. It's irritating. When the changes were first applied, i didn't even know they had dropped, and i couldn't even find the pinned messages when i was trying to find them. This was beyond frustrating to me, because the option now really is absolutely hidden. I can't understand why this was a design option. I thought the entire point of UI was to make it MORE user friendly, not LESS.
