Call doesn't work and it gives me a gray screen it goes back up. Then does the process again. (MacOS El Captain)

It won't let me call people. When I do, it goes to a gray screen, says, "Loading" then "Ready" then it opens, I'm in the call, but then it goes back to a gray screen and does that forever. I am on a MacOS El Captain. (Not the Newer one) and I just wanna call and play Minecraft. This has been going on for 2 days, and the calls were bugging out a little the day before this all happened. I would start a call and it would kick me out and I would have to join, leaving the others being called, but nobody calling them since I was kicked out. It would let me back in atleast. But now I cant even get into a call without discord turning Gray (The Color of Dark Mode in discord kind of gray) And it says Im connected to the call, I can't hear them, I am not sure if they can hear me. I have to close discord everytime this happens so I can even Message my friends. I need this fixed because I cant talk to anyone at the moment cause the calls don't work.     It doesnt repeat it anymore, I try calling someone and it just crashes (I think) It just goes out of discord and it could either be crashing, or just leaving because something is wrong. It repeats the process once before crashing. Thank you for the help if you're reading.

    Also When Im in a call, when I try to open discord again, it closes, and it keeps crashing and crashing until they leave.

    I am having the same problem....the hell is going on...? I was fine yesterday....and yes I have a Mac Pro....

    I started having this problem about a week ago. Sometimes it crashes when I open it now though. I have reinstalled multiple times and never had this issue before the recent update.

    Same problem here too! :( 

    Someone had contact with discord tech about this and verified that the team is working on a fix.

    Seems like a lot of people are having the same issue, only thing that worked for me was using the phone app.

    I have the same problem. It start 2  weeks ago and continues until now. I think it's a mistake to update the discord to Mac

    Better compatibility with the browser version (no download/in-browser) for all browsers currently in use would be the more likely approach to eliminating issues / increasing features on any platform while minimizing coding needed. Right now, on the Xbox (Xbox Edge Browser), the in-browser client fails to load the website properly. This causes the website to just spin the loading icon forever... Wished this would get fixed. UWP would the BEST way to include it on Xbox - While we are talking about compatibility and inclusion to Discord across platforms.

    Yes, I know im bringing this post back but still, I'm on el cap 10.11.6 too and discord wont even load, it keeps saying "update failed, retrying..."
