Remove Notification if Relevant Message is Deleted

Suggestion:
This has been partly suggested, but I intend to cover two problems: mention notifications and new message notifications. If this is a repeat of a suggestion that covers both cases and not just one or the other, please link to it. These two problems are related.

Seeing either notification type but no relevant message(s) for them is irritating. If relevants messages are removed, the visual notifications should be removed, too.

Why?
I have some channels listed to notify me when there are new messages, not just on mentions. Sometimes, 'new messages' are deleted so I end up having attention diverted to that channel, despite the reason for it being removed. Discord is telling me there was something new but it was deleted. If I'm just a normal user in that channel, what's the point in me seeing that?

And it's an oversight.

    Yes please. This adds flexibility to bots, who can put useful information in a place while its relevant and then remove it when it's no longer useful. Very annoying as it currently stands with all kinds of empty notifications. :\
