Other social media platforms give users a wide range of options on how to share your profile with your friends. Discord also has its fair share of options, but I personally think it is a little limited.
To combat this, there should be an option to let others scan an image or code to add you as a friend.
It can be a QR Code, for example, or a custom 'Nametag' to show off to your friends.
The QR Code, similar to logging in to Discord with your phone, can be scanned in the mobile app under the 'Add Friend' page. All the code contains is your Discord username and discriminator (e.g. Wumpus#0000) in plain text.

On the other hand, a 'Nametag' could be a customizable image that contains your Discord username and discriminator (e.g. Wumpus#0000) directly on the image. Furthermore, you may change the color of the outline, add special effects in the background, or change the style of the text.
