Can't put regional indicator emojis next to each other.
Hello, I tried to make text out of emojis, however the spaces looked weird so I removed them but the emojis converted into flags and other stuff!
I know that regional indicators were supposed to make flags, but that's just stupid, why would anyone put two emojis just to make one? That makes no sense and I just want to have cool looking text, why does this have to be difficult? You can convert regional indicator emojis to Unicode regional indicator with a \ but why does it have to happen automatically when you put two next to each other? it would make sense that the same text repeated twice would look like the 1st part was simply repeated but it seems like with the regional indicators this is not the case.
Short version: make :regional_indicator_x: + :regional_indicator_x: = :regional_indicator_x: + :regional_indicator_x:

The problem can be countered by puting a character known as "Zero-width non-joiner" in between. It can be copied to clipboard from https://unicode.flopp.net/c/200C .

Just put spaces between them and you should be set.
