Colour setting for roles (hard to explain in one sentence)
In the role settings, there should be an option called "role of colour affects username" or something like that. By default this setting is turned on.
Normally, the colour of your username in a server is equivalent to the colour of your highest role. If the setting "role of colour affects username" is turned on, it functions the same way.
However, if you disable "role of colour affects username," if you have a role with that setting turned off as your highest role, the colour of your username will not be affected by it and rather your username colour will be the same colour as the highest role with that setting turned on.
In other words, a user's highest role with the "role of colour affects username" setting turned on will be their username colour.
I'm not sure if you understand as I had a really hard time trying my best to explain it. I hope you at least got a rough idea of what I'm trying to say.

If you leave it as default colour it does this effect. I have a server where this is the case. The default colour is overwritten by the colour of the highest role with a colour that has been set.
