Mobile App Text Entry Box Constantly Resizing
I don't know if this was an update or if it was something I did, but now the little chevron that usually hides the "camera" and "media upload" options on the mobile app text entry box starts expanded by default, and only collapses if I type enough (ten characters). It then stays collapsed after I send the message, which is how I prefer it to be by default. However, it then expands again when I start typing again, only to collapse again after I've typed enough. This is one of the most annoying things for a text entry box to do, and I would really like it to stop.
If it is something I did myself, please let me know how I can fix it.
If this is a new feature, please let me set whether I want the media upload buttons expanded or collapsed by default somehow, or let me collapse them manually and have them stay collapsed. I'm not in the habit of writing ten character text messages with images attached, and I don't imagine many other users are. The buttons used to be collapsed by default, I don't understand why this would have been changed.

It seems I'm having the same trouble with the new text input box design on the discord app. Previous designs where way better were you had + or > to attach files, text input, emoji and send icons. This way text box was not going in all directions.
Currently I keep struggling as I tend to press on emojis when all I want to do is send message and both camera and file icons take up too much space considering the amount they are being used in a conversation.
To add to that using some bots became extremely frustrating, so please, can I do something about it?

Having the text I am typing moving all over the place is extremely irritating. Either make it always open, always closed (unless being interacted with) or make a setting, as long as the text _doesnt move_
