Export channels as a document to save them

Admin-only for sure, though saving it as plain-text or pdf wouldn't be the best, as anyone would be able to easily read it, even if for bot utilities it'd be nice, I think that it'd be better to make an new format, though it'd require to create an encoding/decoding algo, and add the option to developper-mode-activated-users (to avoid overuse) to export/inport channels from these files.

Also, to avoid too heavy files, maybe restrain it to 1k messages or less, as it'd also have to include images and all (but images can be saved as links, as attachments are always saved on servers (maybe for comparisons between all, and delete multiples ? dunno), what would make these files way lighter.

i would also like to see the ability to save a channel. i have a chat channel with a lot of valuable information that is no longer in use. i have to keep the channel active just so i can refer back to the info on it. it would be much more convenient and efficient to be able to download the channel to my computer and delete the chat on the servers. it might also get rid of a lot of fallow information on your servers if people were able to do this.

Is anyone looking into this?  It was originally brought up over a year ago. If we need people to like this suggestion, I can go make that happen, I think.

Any update on this?  All the recent changes I would hope this is an option by now…
