Regional prices for nitro.

I really think it is necessary to have regional prices.

I have already paid the $5 nitro for a while because I just love Discord and want to support them in some way, but it is still an excessive amount for my country. There are many large services that have regional prices, discord as a "serious" social network, which is no longer a small project, should have them too.

It is quite unfair that Discord, which is used worldwide, is only charging in a specific currency of a single country with a single economy, it is even insulting because it gives the feeling that they are only interested in the users of that country.

Sure, implementing this has some problems, such as using VPN to get a lower price, but I consider it solvable, and even if it wasn't, what is worse? Having users occupying VPN to get a lower price?, Or have excessive and unfair prices for a large part of your users and simply ignore it as if there was no problem? (but as I said, it is a solvable problem surely).

    When you order Nitro, you must enter your data. Where you live and stuff. So I think it's cool to have a different price for developing countries.

     

    I don't know if developing countries is the right word. But we in the Netherlands say translated to English developing countries...

    upvoted. They said "hey, we loss our money, project is unprofitable so we're think about selling it out" but guys cmon, just make regional prices & see the difference!

    Live in RF & 10 usd is WAAAY too much for being payed every mouth, even 5 usd is too much- i can eat whole week for 10 usd, u reallise it?

    Well okay, a bit of exaggeration, its more like 4 days, not 7, but its still huge amount of money.

    Want to support, but for reasonable prices. 2-3 usd per month will be good.

    Just think about it - reason why steam was so popular when it started- their regional prices poliсy. Not only, but most important imho.
