Cant drag the window from the very top
OS: Windows 10
When i want to drag the window on the top when its maximized (to move it around or to another monitor) it doesnt work. I have to move my mouse slighty down to be able to grab it.
Its not like a very big thing to me but it still does annoy me and a fix would be very much appreciated.

Yes I find this extremely annoying.

Same complaint. Too used to being able to drag with the mouse at the very top.

Also happens on Windows 8.1. Would really like to get this fixed, I encounter this every morning when I have to move my window to the right monitor after it autostarts.

So true, I wish you could set it to automatically start on the secondary monitor.

I'd like to bump this, as it (hopefully) involves a minor fix that will certainly save a lot of frustration for the users who work with multiple monitors. Having only the lower (!) half of the titlebar react to dragging in fullscreen mode is rather annoying than helpful, not to mention it completely misses the opportunity of Fitt's Law.

Please, this is the most frustrating thing about Discord

Relevant from an Electron app:

So the issue is with Electron and not Discord? Or is Discord able to fix this?

I guess it’s a problem of Electron, but I can’t find any bug upstream
Discord should be able to fix it

Maybe it's not a problem with electron since I think electron (even on windows) uses the native titlebar. I think it's an issue with the module that they used to make this custom titlebar

I just encountered this issue too. Would be great if Discord could patch it.

Major bump. Why is this not possible?

Bump. This gets very annoyying.

Chiming in to say I have the same frustrations. Literally every other app on my PC lets me drag the window bar down to take it out of maximized mode, if Discord won't let me do that then it should let me specify the monitor to start on.

I mean at this point Discord is really trying to annoy its Windows users.
This non standard behaviour, another here: https://support.discord.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360040720652-Also-close-to-tray-when-Alt-F4-is-pressed-and-the-relevant-setting-is-enabled
Just publicly tell us you hate Windows users and be done with it.

This seems to be fixed now! I've been following this thread for years and just wanted anyone who's commented here to know they can stop micromanaging their mouse position when dragging Discord :)
