More Issues With Mobile UI - VC Edition

So I've already expressed my opinions on the new mobile UI (I hate it with a passion), but the longer I try to use the mobile app the more nonsensical the update feels, and the less user-friendly it becomes. I loved the old VC system - a little grey bar on the bottom of the screen that lit up with icon bubbles to tell you who's talking; it allowed me to switch through my servers and multitask easily across discord while still engaging in conversations. However, now all I have is a bright green bar at the top of the screen that shoves everything down and, because of the vibrant color choice, is insanely distracting. Besides the unnecessary decision to place it at the top of the screen and the distracting color choice, they've completely removed the icons – I have to actively be tabbed into the VC menu to see who's talking, which means I can't talk in any of my servers or even the server the VC is taking place in, because I'm too busy trying to identify who's saying what. It's an overall very frustrating change, as with all the new UI changes, and have absolutely demolished the old simplicity of the app.

I agree wholeheartedly. I've gone and started a hashtag #NotMyPlaceToTalk that protests the v20.4 "Tabs" UI. Feel free to use the hashtag to put your two cents in and talk about your Discord app struggles. I'd really appreciate it if you tweeted about this, because it wasn't one of the issues I touched on in my original post!
