"No luck. I wrote a 2 star review"

What will force discord to respond is not whining but getting their app to average of 2. You should have given them 1 star.
Or even flag that app on app store, this way it'll hopefully be removed from the store and certain individuals at discord will think twice next time.

I laid a breakdown of my reasons, and I still respect them too much to give 1 star. The app can still do what it says in theory, but it doesn't work for me. I'm still angry, but joining radicals won't do much good. I view myself as a complainer on this topic, but not a whiner.

Of note, it looks like they are responding to reviews, but usually, they're directing people here. The way I see it, my goal is to get a human pair of eyeballs on the underlying problem: a disconnect between feedback and developers.

The paradox isn't just the UI...it's a company thinking they can suddenly treat their loyal userbase like a bunch of sheep.

I agree wholeheartedly. In fact, I've started the hashtag #NotMyPlaceToTalk. Please spread awareness of this initiative—to make Discord’s mobile app usable, fast, and accessible again. https://mobile.twitter.com/ItsSpelledHALEY/status/1278307838754844673

Guess what I found on their Twitter account! I've already filled out a survey telling them all about what I think of the mobile UI, though I forgot to mention Linux spell check...

PS: I lost enough respect to downgrade to 1 star when they linked their "It's improved" article in response to my review.
