If i block someone i dont wanna see infos about them still

Hey Hoo, 
blocking has alot of reasons. One is to just forget the person exists. I really dont understand why AT LEAST you guys dont enable it that you wont see if the person is online or not, also not see the profile pic... stuff like that. 
IT would be really easy and i personally would be glad if i saw as little as possible of the person.

    I'd also like to avoid that person being able to see your status or linked accounts
