Selected channel doesn’t distinguish between read and unread in channel picker

In the channel picker on mobile, the selected channel renders identically when it has unread messages vs read messages. This means that every time I switch servers to read new messages I have to swipe into the current channel to see if it has any new messages before going back to the channel picker to find rooms that do have new messages. It’s extremely irritating. I believe this affects desktop too, but is less important there because I don’t have to swipe to see the contents of the current channel (but I do have to look around to see if there are any unread messages before navigating away).
