Separate, collapsable comment reply section.

Discord channels get so insanely chaotic sometimes with multiple groups of people trying to discuss different things in the same channel. The quality of discussions are severely harmed by this.

A solution would be to create a collapsable piece of UI under the comments when a user replies to someone. When a new message is sent in that dedicated section, a little dot could pop up on the comment to notify users that a new message exists there. The UI should be indented slightly to visually represent that the user is in a dedicated reply field.

Discord channels would become so much cleaner and more legible with just a few “premise” comments that can be expanded to see the full conversation.

Please, Discord, for the benefit of the community, make this happen!

There's a lot of threads asking - roughly - for a feature that allows people to carry discussions that *stay on topic* without management perms

I think discord really needs to add "something", whether it's your suggestion or something else, to allow for that
