Increase rate limit for editing channel description

Recently the allowed amount of requests to change the channel description was lowered to two requests in 10 minutes. I think this is not enough as there are bots which show more dynamic things in the server description (like an server status with player count and uptime). I would change it to like 1-2 requests per minute or revert it back to what it was before (it could handle secondly updates) to allow more dynamic content to be shown in the channel description.

    I second this, by lowering the requests rate to 2 per 10 minutes, alot of bots I use to change channel descriptions are showing less accurate data. This needs to be changed/reverted to the way it was previously used.

    Yeah 2 per 10 is a huge bummer.  It would be nice to be able to have dynamic content in the description.  Could help make key information clearer rather than having people trying to scroll up and find a message posted by the bot.

    This rate limit should be increased together with the channel name editing rate limit. You can only change the channel name 2 times per 10 minutes, and I find it stupid that normal users can change it more frequently than bots can.

    Same, we have a support discord with help channels where we add a free emoiji or a taken emoiji to channel names to prevent people talking over each other. Something so simple should be able to be done by the bot, but this rate limit really kills it. What's worse is you can't detect you're hitting/near the limit unless you actually hit it. We don't need a crazy limit, but something more sane is definitely required, and a way to monitor per channel when the rate limit will be up

    I have been unable to create several functions normally for several months just because of this limitation.
    But this is only half the trouble.
    Why can users change the name of the channel, as if without any restrictions? So my account has to become a bot to avoid these ridiculous restrictions?
    I really like DISCORD, but sometimes it comes with weird surprises.

    So I am creating a bot for a small community of like 30 people that is renaming the channel to display the game most people in that channel are playing and I hit the rate limit 3 times in 40 minutes. How should any bots be able to do anything with channels with those ridiculous rate limits?

    spent hours trying to figure out the issue with my bot before i finally came across this thread. this is really stupid.
