The mobile app slows down over time

I have noticed several times after using the mobile app over the course of the day without quitting out of it that it starts to slow down as I continue to look through channels. What I mean is that when I click between dms or channels it takes much longer than normal to display the information in the channel or dm. Idk if it's because it's caching a bunch of stuff or not. Normally it's a basically instant transition on my phone but later in the day it gets noticeably slower.

    Clear your cache for the app, also it could just be your phone. Phones slow down after timr

    I shouldn't have to clear the cache on my own, I know I can do that but the point is that I shouldn't have to. To be honest I doubt it is my phone, phones don't slow down that much over the course of one day.
