(IOS) Message preview is now disabled when clicking a link to a server message

The new update that lets you jump to an old specific message is great, but when someone shares a link of a message in the chat, after i click that link, it takes me straight to that message without showing me a preview of it. When i'm in another channel and i scrolled up far and saw a link, the link takes me to another channel and i can't go back to where i was before instantly, i have to scroll back to where i was again. Please add a preview of when you click a link, and then add the option to jump to chat, instead of jumping straight to chat.
