Option to receive all notifications

I have my notifications set to “All Messages” on one of my channels. This is on an iOS device on an account only used for this device. However, due to the size of the channel, only receive @mentions despite my setting otherwise. I’ve read around about this issue and have seen Discord’s posts regarding the reasoning for this (namely avoid spamming users), however I think the current settings and options that have arisen to implement this are pretty patchwork and often don’t function the way a user would expect. I would appreciate a bit more robust and intuitive notifications settings. I think the current default is good, especially to prevent those who are using discord casually from getting bombarded with messages upon joining a channel. However, options need to be named appropriately, and if I have opted for All messages, then I would expect to receive all messages (or at least the first three like is implemented elsewhere). As a game dev, I have very large channels that I still want to get all notifications from so I can quickly see and respond to praise/questions/criticism.
