Weird "Search" behavior after latest update

After recent mobile discord update i found new annoying seach behavior (not sure if it is intended) - In the past when i searched for something and jumped to needed message i usually just pressed "back" button on my phone and discord was sending me back to the list of search results. Now whenever i press "back" discord just opens left side bar...How am i suppose to use search function now?

  The back button functionality has been removed since the previous update and still no signs to come back yet
