I am not from USA, so I don't want to hear about your bullshit problems. Please use GeoLocation to detect whether I should receive un-close-able popups about your internal problems.

Update: To close annoying popup, restart Discord.

  It's so annoying. I live in the USA, but this is just in the way, and I don't see why they are doing it in that form, instead of using the update patch notes window when you open discord. What makes it worse is how you can't close it. Why??

  I also had this issue. restarted fixed it.
  
  I wont be spending another penny on a company that's gonna shove a political ideology down my throat. I pay for products, not political campaigns.

  Imagine seeing a message against black supremacists or asian supremacists starting discord.

  If you can replace white with black, congrats you wrote something racist
