I strongly agree. There's hardly any white supremacists worldwide. Not in my country the Netherlands, not in Germany, not in the UK, nor in the US.
Naming examples of cases that involve people under influence, on probation, fighting cops and taking their weapons and lobbing them alongside some actual cases where there was police brutality is complete insanity. And pretty much none of those police brutality cases will have been based on race on top of that.15 -
I find the BLM banner offensive. BLM condones violence against others. As a native American Indian i have found Blacks are just as racist as whites. DISCORD Owners Stop forcing your personal preferences off on others. You provide a service not your personal opinions. What are you going to do next start kicking off profiles like facebook and twitter for not agreeing with you.

We use discord to take a break from mess that is real life. Keep your "in these trying times...." to yourself and off our log ins. No # is going to change humankind. We have been coming up with reasons to hate and kill the other guy since we first saw that other guy.
Stop being another Charmin toilet paper and ford telling us to stay strong and be safe were making you more T.P and you should come into one of our service centers and get new tires while you stay safe in your car.

Came here to complain about this. Glad I'm not the only one. Discord is not Facebook. You only talk with people you want to talk to about stuff you want to talk about. BLM (and coronavirus) is not something I want to talk about so if you could kindly take your corporate pandering, I mean opinions (whatever they may be) and stick them where the sun doesn't shine that would do wonders for me. I don't want your blog posts. I don't want your hashtags. I don't want whatever vapid ill thought out response you to have this month's hot news item before you forget entirely about it in favor of next month's hot topic. Just keep it to yourself. Seriously.
If Discord promised to never push another banner on its users I'd buy Nitro in a heartbeat. As it is, if this keeps up I may have to find some other chat program.

I wont be spending another penny on a company that's gonna shove a political ideology down my throat. I pay for products, not political campaigns.

Glad I'm not the only one. The moment they turn Discord into another snowflake comfort zone by enforcing "political correctness" and such, we're going to ditch it the same way we ditched FB, Twitter and all of the other liberal social media platforms without second thought.

Gotta love the X at the side of it as if they're actually going to let us dismiss this propaganda message. Press it and it does nothing, thanks for forcing me to deal with this garbage on yet another platform. But hey, on the bright side if they keep this up they'll alienate enough people that a competitor will be nipping at their heels in no time.

Tekkarath, you can get rid of it by fully closing discord and starting it up again. then the x should be clickable. bit of a suspicious/convenient bug, but i'll give them the benefit of doubt.

100% agree. Leave this political BS out of your app. Sick of seeing it everywhere. Nobody is disputing that anyone's lives matter. I don't want to be constantly reminded about politics everywhere I look. F off with it.
