Transparency with Bans
Discord should be more transparent with regard to rule enforcement. Here are some suggestions with regard to how Discord can better handle bans.
1. **Specific evidence requirements**: The evidence with regard to bans should be stored and viewable by the banned user immediately after being banned. This is one of the pillars of a fair judicial system (it's called discovery), and it is an idea that should definitely be considered to keep trust.
2. **Public ban logs**: All user and server bans should be publicly viewable with reasoning attached (minus evidence, unless the user chooses to share it).
3. **False ban notices**: When a user has been deemed falsely banned, the ban log should be updated with what happened and how discord will prevent such a ban from occurring again.
